1. Bishop Ahr (24-3) – The Trojans completed their run to their first Greater Middlesex Conference tournament championship in 18 years by beating Middlesex in the semifinals and Edison in the final. Bishop Ahr is the No. 3 seed in the Non-Public A South Tournament and, after a bye, will open against Union Catholic or Donovan Catholic in Thursday’s quarterfinals.

2. Edison (19-6) – The second-seeded Eagles rolled through J.P. Stevens in the GMCT semifinals, but fell to Bishop Ahr 47-32 in Friday’s final. Edison is the No. 6 seed in North 2 Group IV, opening at home Monday against Philipsburg.

3. Middlesex (22-4) – The Blue Jays fell to eventual champ Bishop Ahr in Tuesday’s GMCT semifinals, finishing the week with a win over Sayreville and a loss to Mount St. Mary. Middlesex is seeded No. 2 in Central Group I and will face Asbury Park on Tuesday.

4. J.P. Stevens (18-6) – The Hawks fell to Edison in the GMCT semifinals Tuesday and open their state run Monday at home as the No. 4 seed, playing host to North Hunterdon.

5. Piscataway (12-11) – The Chiefs, who fell to Middlesex 53-47 in the GMCT quarterfinals, are seeded No. 10 in the North 2 Group IV state sectional tournament and will visit seventh-seeded Watchung Hills on Monday.

6. East Brunswick (17-8) – The Bears warmed up for the state tournament with a victory over Carteret on Tuesday. East Brunswick is the No. 6 seed in Central Group IV, playing host to Monroe in Monday’s opening round.

7. Sayreville (16-9) – The Bombers fell to Middlesex on Thursday, before topping Carteret on Friday in regular-season games. Seeded No. 8 in Central Group IV, Sayreville plays host ninth-seeded Howell on Monday.

8. Monroe (11-10) – The Falcons soured past Point Pleasant Beach and South Plainfield to cap their regular season. They open as the No. 11 seed in Central Group IV on Monday at East Brunswick.

9. South River (13-10) – The Rams fell to Randolph on Monday, but finished the week strong, topping Brearley and Timothy Christian. The No. 5 seed in Central Group II, South River plays host to Newark Collegiate in Monday’s opening round.

10. Old Bridge (10-13) – The Knights make their season debut in the Top 10 after 11th-seeded Old Bridge surprised No. 6 Sayreville in the GMCT third round, before succumbing to J.P. Stevens in the quarterfinals.
