If you're big on big trucks, the 2019 Chicago Auto Show was huge for you. The show, which closed its doors on Monday, featured a treasure trove of new heavy-duty trucks from a trio of brands for all your work-truck or large-trailer-towing needs, including the 2020 Chevrolet 2500/3500 (which we named Best in Show for Chicago), 2020 GMC Sierra 2500/3500, and 2019 Ram 3500, 4500 and 5500 chassis cabs.

Couldn't make it to the Chicago show? Fret not. Our pickup-lovin' pal Mark Williams, editor of Cars.com sister site PickupTrucks.com, was on the scene to bring you the whole payload. Get Williams' full rundown on all of these pickups by watching the following videos.

2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500/3500

The 2019 Chicago Auto Show was our first chance to see the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD pickup trucks. You can look at them and tell that these are all-new pickup trucks: powertrain, design, interior, everything has been completely redone. As far as powertrains, the carryover Duramax diesel is going to come to the 2020 HDs, providing 445 horsepower and 910 pounds-feet of torque, but now with a 10-speed Allison transmission. But the big news is an all-new 6.6-liter direct-injection V-8 engine boasting 401 hp and 464 pounds-feet of torque. This new gas engine has also made it up to a revised six-speed transmission. One thing to consider if you're doing any work on your engine on these new heavy duties: They're a little taller than they were before, so if you're trying to reach up to close the hood, it's a little difficult.

2020 GMC Sierra 2500/3500

We also saw the first public viewing of the 2020 GMC HD lineup, including the 2500 and 3500 — and in the AT4 trim. The entire lineup has heavier-duty frames and heavier-duty suspensions in order to be able to accommodate bigger payload numbers and big towing numbers. Under the hood, it's pretty much a carryover: a 6.6-liter Duramax diesel engine, 445 hp, 910 pounds-feet of torque. The people we've talked to at GM say their customers don't need more torque, but they are going to get a 10-speed Allison automatic transmission — heavy-duty — and they're also going to get a new gas direct-injection V-8, 6.6 liters as well, that will provide 401 hp and 464 pounds-feet of torque.

2019 Ram 3500, 4500 and 5500 Chassis Cab

If you have a big, heavy trailer, then you need a heavy-duty pickup truck. And this year, the 2019 Ram heavy duties have introduced three brand-new Chassis Cab configurations: 3500, 4500 and 5500. That means 35,000 pounds of towing and a gross combined weight rating of more than 43,000 pounds. Underneath the new chassis cabs are benefits from the same upgrades we've already seen on the 2500 and 3500 frames. Under the hood, the chassis cabs also benefit from transmission upgrades both for the 6.4-liter Hemi as well as for the newly designed and upgraded 6.7-liter Cummins.
