1. Bishop Ahr (12-2) – The Trojans cruised through two games last week, scoring an 81-34 GMC victory over Colonia and a 79-46 drubbing of Davidson Day of North Carolina. Bishop Ahr has won eight straight and are undefeated in 2019.

2. Edison (10-4) – Another highly successful week for the Eagles, who claimed three straight victories, including White Division victories over South Plainfield and Sayreville, and an impressive 69-60 topping of No. 4 Piscataway on Saturday.
3. J.P. Stevens (10-3) – The Hawks began their week with wins over Piscataway and Monroe to strengthen their hold of first place in the GMC Red Division. But a Saturday meeting with Jackson Memorial didn’t go J.P. Stevens’ way in a 67-43 loss. Big game on tap for Tuesday against East Brunswick.
4. Piscataway (7-6) – The Chiefs took care of business against Perth Amboy on Thursday with a 61-37 victory, but it was sandwiched by a couple of losses to Top 3 teams, as Piscataway fell to J.P. Stevens 59-52 on Tuesday, before losing to Edison 69-60 on Saturday.
5. East Brunswick (10-3) – The Bears handled both of their opponents last week, scoring a 56-48 topping of Monroe on Tuesday and a 67-45 win over Cranford on Thursday. East Brunswick will look to avenge an earlier-season loss to J.P. Stevens on Tuesday, before facing Red Division foe Perth Amboy on Thursday and closing the week with a big test against Skyland Conference power Bridgewater-Raritan on Saturday.
6. Middlesex (12-1) – The Blue Jays won both their outings last week, thumping Scotch Plains-Fanwood on Wednesday, before notching a Blue Division win over South River on Friday. Middlesex has won six straight and lead the GMC Blue by a game and a half.
7. Sayreville (9-5) – The Bombers had little trouble with J.F. Kennedy in a 67-33 win on Tuesday, and finished the week with a 61-45 topping of Old Bridge. In between, Sayreville dropped a 65-48 decision to Edison, squandering a chance to move up in the top 10 and in the White Division standings.
8. Monroe (6-5) – The Falcons ran into a pair of Top 5 teams last week, falling in both games, 56-48 to East Brunswick on Tuesday and 60-35 to J.P. Stevens on Thursday. Monroe looks to get back on track this week with contests slated against South Brunswick, Carteret and Metuchen.
9. Carteret (12-3) – The Ramblers move back into the Top 10 after falling out last week, using a four-game sweep of last week’s slate, including wins over North Brunswick and South Plainfield. Carteret gets a shot at No. 8 Monroe on Wednesday.
10. North Brunswick (7-6) – The Raiders scored a pair of White Division victories to being last week, topping Colonia 42-29 and Woodbridge 39-30. Things took a southernly turn Saturday with a 50-45 loss to Carteret. North Brunswick opens its week Tuesday against Sayreville with a chance to make a move up the rankings and division standings.
