Boys Basketball: This week's HNT/GMC Top 10 - MyCentralJersey.com

1. Old Bridge (11-1): Old Bridge solidified its hold on the Greater Middlesex Conference Red Division with wins over St. Joseph (Met.) and South Brunswick this week. The Knights are now 8-0 in division play. Old Bridge will host St. John Vianney on Saturday and will host Perth Amboy on Tuesday. 

2. Colonia (11-1): Colonia went 2-1 this week, with wins over New Brunswick and North Brunswick, but was dealt its first loss on Thursday against American History. The Patriots still maintain their hold on the GMC White Division at 7-0, and will face a tall task against Linden on Saturday at Kean University before facing Edison on Tuesday. 

3. Bishop Ahr (11-2): Bishop Ahr won all three of its games this week and stretched its win streak to six-straight games. The Trojans are atop the GMC Blue Division at 7-0 with a game against Metuchen on Friday night, Mater Dei on Saturday and Executive Education Charter (Pa.) on Monday.

4. Monroe (9-4): Monroe bounced back from two-straight losses with wins over East Brunswick and J.P. Stevens this week. The Falcons will play Edison on Saturday before facing off against Red Division foes South Brunswick on Tuesday and St. Joseph (Met.) on Thursday. 

5. Piscataway (7-5): Piscataway bounced back from a loss to Monroe on Jan. 8 with three straight wins over East Brunswick, J.P. Stevens and Perth Amboy. The Chiefs will face New Brunswick on Monday at Trenton Central and will travel to St. Joseph (Met.) on Tuesday.

6. Linden (7-7): Linden has lost its last four games against the likes of the Patrick School, Columbia, Trenton Catholic and St. Mary (Eliz.). The Tigers will look to get back on track against Colonia at Kean on Saturday before facing Roselle Catholic on Tuesday and the Patrick School for Round 2 on Thursday. 

7. St. Joseph (Met.) (6-6): St. Joseph snapped a two-game losing streak with a win over East Brunswick on Thursday. The Falcons will face Hudson Catholic on Saturday before hosting Piscataway in a Red Division tilt on Tuesday. 

8. Edison (7-5): Edison has won six-straight games, including victories over Freehold Borough, J.P. Stevens and Sayreville this week. The Eagles have a tough test against Monroe on Saturday before facing Colonia on Tuesday and New Brunswick on Thursday. 

9. J.P. Stevens (8-6): After a hot start to the season, J.P. Stevens has struggled as of late, losing its last four games against the likes of Immaculata, Edison, Piscataway and Monroe. The Hawks will look to turn things around with a trio of Red Division games coming up. J.P. Stevens will play East Brunswick on Tuesday, Monroe on Wednesday and South Brunswick on Thursday. 

10. Rahway (8-1): Rahway suffered its first loss of the season last Saturday with a loss against Union County Conference Sky Division-leading New Providence, but then won its next game against Summit on Thursday. The Indians will face Roselle on Saturday and Scotch Plains-Fanwood on Tuesday. 

10. Dunellen (11-2): Dunellen bounced back from a loss to Bound Brook on Monday with a win over Highland Park on Wednesday. The Destroyers are still undefeated and atop the GMC Gold at 9-0. Dunellen faced Perth Amboy Tech on Friday and will play East Brunswick Tech on Wednesday. 

Other teams receiving consideration: Carteret (7-5); New Brunswick (8-4); South River (7-5).
