It happened on Christmas around 8:45 p.m. on the corner of Eleventh and Hume.

During the officer's investigation, it was determined that a white Chevrolet Malibu with three kids and two adults was traveling north on 11th Avenue. As the Malibu entered the intersection, a second gray GMC Yukon was traveling east on Hume Avenue and entered the intersection at a high rate of speed, colliding with the side of the Malibu.
