We’ll write a feature story about the top vote-getter, so make your votes count. Voting closes Tuesday at 7 p.m.
The players who made our Week 8 Player of the Week ballot, which can be found at the bottom of this story, are listed in alphabetical order.

Chancellor Cooper, Old Bridge
Rushed eight times for 155 yards and a touchdown in a 28-14 victory over Jackson Memorial.
Billy Drum, South River
Rushed four times for 58 yards and a score and returned an interception 48 yards for a touchdown in a 41-14 victory over South Hunterdon.
Mike Harmon, Dunellen
Carried 22 times for 180 yards and four touchdowns, including the decisive score, and completed 2 of 3 passes for 36 yards in a 40-33 victory over Metuchen.
Taj-Calvin Johnson, Colonia
Rushed 14 times for 136 yards and two touchdowns and also completed 5 of 11 passes for 101 yards and a score in a 41-13 victory over J.F. Kennedy.
Quian Muse, J.P. Stevens
Rushed 13 times for 137 yards and a touchdown and also caught a pass for 13 yards in a 23-7 victory over Woodbridge.
Felix Quinones, South Brunswick
Completed 7 of 11 passes for 120 yards and rushed 12 times for 80 yards in a 35-14 victory over Brick Memorial.
Christian Petrillo, North Brunswick
Completed 6 of 10 passes for 92 yards and a touchdown and had 14 carries for 55 yards and four touchdowns in a 33-22 win over Perth Amboy.
Colton Redding, Sayreville
In addition to registering a receiving touchdown and being among the team leaders in tackles from his linebacker position, Redding was effective as a blocking back in a 48-7 win over Neptune (stats pending).
