1. Piscataway (5-2): The Chiefs were shut out for the first time since 2012 in a 28-0 loss to undefeated Manalapan. Unlike last season, when Piscataway avenged a regular-season loss to the Braves, such an opportunity does not exist this year because the schools are in different playoff sections. Next: at Edison, Friday, 7 p.m.

2. South Brunswick (6-1): Felix Quinones completed 7 of 11 passes for 120 yards and rushed 12 times for 80 yards in a 35-14 victory over Brick Memorial. Penn State University commit Justin Shorter caught five passes for 116 yards. The victory was the fourth straight for the Vikings. Next: Monroe, Friday, 7 p.m.

3. St. Joseph (8-0): The Falcons clinched their second consecutive White Division title with a 35-7 victory over Carteret. After utilizing a 16-play drive that consumed more than nine minutes for its first touchdown, the Falcons needed just four plays combined to reach the end zone on their first three possessions of the third quarter to break open a taut contest. Next: at J.P. Stevens, Friday, 7 p.m.

4. Old Bridge (5-2): The Knights rushed for 355 yards and four touchdowns to clinch a Central Group V playoff berth with an impressive 28-14 victory on the road over Jackson Memorial on Friday night. Chancellor Cooper led all ground gainers with 155 yards on eight carries including an 80-yard touchdown run. Next: at Sayreville, Friday, 7 p.m.

7. North Brunswick (5-2): Christian Petrillo’s two touchdown runs in the fourth quarter enabled the Raiders to erase a 22-20 deficit in a 33-22 win over Perth Amboy that clinched a playoff berth. The win was the fifth straight for North Brunswick, which can assure itself of the school’s first winning season since 2010 with a victory over Woodbridge. Next: Woodbridge, Friday, 7 p.m.
