Westland police are looking for a white- or light-colored late model sport utility vehicle that they say may have been involved in a fatal pedestrian crash.
A 49-year-old Dearborn Heights woman died Feb. 11 when she tried to cross Merriman Road near Parkwood Street around 7:30 p.m.
The suspect vehicle, which police say is a GMC Arcadia or Terrain, was southbound on Merriman Road.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Westland Police Department’s traffic bureau, 734-722-9633.
