VOTE NOW for the HNT/GMC Softball Player of the Week - MyCentralJersey.com

EDITOR'S NOTE: MyCentralJersey.com expects all voters to adhere to NJSIAA rules, conducting themselves in a sportsmanlike fashion.

Welcome to Week 6 of the Home News Tribune/Greater Middlesex Conference Softball Player of the Week poll. The winner will be featured as the Player of the Week in this week's notebook. Voting closes Wednesday at 7 p.m.

The players who made our Week 6 Softball Player of the Week ballot can be found below.  

Nominations are based upon statistics available at press time.

Kaylin Nepton, Middlesex

The freshman went 3-for-4 with three RBI in a loss to Bound Brook on Monday, and finished with four RBI and three runs scored in a win over Perth Amboy on Tuesday. 

Jessica Stadler, South Brunswick

The junior helped South Brunswick go 3-0 this week. In a win over Metuchen on Monday, Stadler went 2-for-2 and scored a run. She went 3-for-4 with five RBI and two runs scored in a win over Perth Amboy on Wednesday, and went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI in a win over J.P. Stevens on Saturday. 

Brianna Boen, East Brunswick

The freshman went 2-for-4 with three RBI, four runs scored and a stolen base in a loss to Edison on Tuesday. On Friday, in a win over Spotswood, she went 2-for-3 with one RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base. 

Daisy Arocho, Perth Amboy Tech

The senior helped Perth Amboy Tech go 2-1 this week. On Tuesday in a loss to Middlesex, she went 1-for-2, and on Thursday in a win over Calvary Christian, Arocho finished 3-for-4 with two triples, three RBI and three runs scored. She went 2-for-4 with a double, one RBI, one run scored and two stolen bases in a win over Piscataway Tech on Friday. She also set a school record with her 125th career hit. 

Isabella Cardin, East Brunswick Tech

The junior went 2-for-2 with a triple, two RBI, five runs scored and four stolen bases in a win over New Brunswick on Tuesday. On Wednesday, she went 2-for-2 with three runs scored in a loss to Woodbridge Academy, and on Thursday she finished with two runs scored and three stolen bases in a win over Highland Park.
