2019 GMC Sierra 1500 CarbonPro Editions Are Ridiculously Expensive - CarBuzz

Now, it’s important to bear a few things in mind, among them the CarbonPro package costs about $4,000 more than a similarly equipped truck with a steel bed. So basically you’ll be getting all of the features on the Denali and AT4 trucks, including the excellent 6.2-liter V8 as standard fare. A 3.0-liter diesel inline-six paired to a 10-speed automatic will be optional for 2020. Other features both trucks offer include a MultiPro Audio System by Kicker which is a Bluetooth speaker built into the MultiPro tailgate, a 15-inch head-up display, sunroof, and advanced safety systems such as Lane Keeping Assist/Lane Departure Warning, Forward Automatic Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, Intellibeam Headlights, and Forward Collision Alert. A trailer tire pressure monitoring system will also come in handy.

GMC is taking a fairly conservative rollout strategy for the pair because it expects to sell only around 1,000 examples for what’s left of this year. Next year, however, is a different story because GMC predicts sales will skyrockets, perhaps as high as 20,000 units.
