Middlesex 47, Spotswood 7: Joshua Irvin had a huge game as Middlesex rolled in Saturday’s GMC Gold Division game. Irvin scored on a 60-yard punt return, a 56-yard interception return, rushed for a 46-yard touchdown, forced a fumbled and recovered a fumble, and finished with 72 rushing yards.
Cary Hamrah added 129 yards on three carries and a touchdown and completed his lone pass for a 37-yard touchdown to Stephen Young.
Additionally, Michael Schweyher rushed for a touchdown and had 48 yards on four carries, while Jose Andujar rushed for 72 yards on 11 carries.
Middlesex led 27-7 at halftime.
