TOWN OF EMMET, Wis. - Two people died in a three-vehicle crash Sunday night in the Town of Emmet, according to officials.
Officials responded to the crash around 5:30 p.m. to CTH R near CTH EM, according to a release from the Dodge County Sheriff's Office.
A GMC Jimmy was eastbound on CTH R in the westbound lane and struck a westbound Ford Ranger head-on. The GMC Jimmy also struck a Chevrolet Trailblazer that was traveling behind the Ford Ranger, according to the report.
The female driver of the GMC and the male driver of the Ford were pronounced dead at the scene by the Dodge County medical examiner. There were no passengers in either vehicle, officials said.
The three occupants of the Chevrolet suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Aurora Medical Center in Summit, according to officials.
Officials said they are not releasing the names of the victims.
CTH R was closed, but has since been reopened, according to the release.
