Today marks the state cutoff for the NJSIAA playoffs. The eight teams with the most power points in each of the state's 23 sections will qualify.
Throughout the day, MyCentralJersey.com will provide updates with unofficial NJSIAA playoff pairings for all sections involving Greater Middlesex Conference teams and schools in the Courier News coverage area.
These are projections. The NJSIAA is expected to release official pairings on Sunday.
The playoffs commence next weekend with first-round action. The semifinals will be played on the weekend of Nov. 17-18 and the championship games will be contested Nov. 30 through Dec. 3.
Please consider revisiting this page throughout the day for updates. We will solidify projected pairings in each section as results from today's key games are reported.
Central Group III
The top five seeds appear to be set. If Hamilton (3-4) upsets Nottingham (7-1) today, Hamilton will be the No. 6 seed, Carteret will be the No. 7 seed and Ewing will be the No. 8 seed. If Hamilton loses to Nottingham, Carteret will be the No. 6 seed, Ewing will be the No. 7 seed and Lawrence will be the No. 8 seed.

North 2 Group V
The seeds for this field appear to be set. Watchung Hills, Bayonne and Ridge all finished with 79 points. We believe Watchung Hills holds the tiebreaker among the three schools and will receive the No. 6 seed.
