1. Piscataway (7-2): Juwon Jackson scored three touchdowns in the first quarter, setting the tone for a 45-6 drubbing of Bayonne in the opening round of the North 2 Group V playoffs. Next: Bridgewater-Raritan, Saturday, 1 p.m.

2. South Brunswick (8-1): Felix Quinones rushed for 147 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries and completed 3 of 4 passes for 61 yards including a 29-yard touchdown in a 42-7 victory over Hillsborough in a Central Group V first-round game. Next: Old Bridge, Friday, 7 p.m.

3. St. Joseph (9-1): Paul Cocozziello completed 11 of 19 passes for 172 yards in a season-ending 35-7 loss to Paramus Catholic in the Non-Public Group IV quarterfinals.

4. Old Bridge (7-2): Anthony Imbimbo rushed for two touchdowns, Chancellor Cooper scored another and Calogero Caruso booted a field goal in a 24-6 win over Trenton in the opening round of the Central Group V playoffs. Next: at South Brunswick, Friday, 7 p.m.

5. Sayreville (6-4): The battle-tested Bombers proved the rigors of playing in the Red Division prepared them for the postseason as they rolled to a 31-0 North 2 Group IV first-round victory over Colonia in which Connor Holmes rushed for 165 yards and two touchdowns. Next: at North Hunterdon, Friday, 7 p.m.

6. Colonia (7-3): The Patriots were limited to four first downs and 19 rushing yards in a season-ending 31-0 loss to defending sectional champion Sayreville in the opening round of the North 2 Group IV playoffs.

7. North Brunswick (6-3): Myles Bailey rushed for 182 yards and two touchdowns in a 17-13 loss to Freehold Township in the opening round of the Central Group V playoffs. Next: at South Brunswick, Nov. 22, 5 p.m.

8. Carteret (4-5): Zamar Brake completed 20 of 33 passes for 279 yards and also rushed for 51 yards on 11 carries in a 21-7 Central Group III first-round playoff loss to Monmouth Regional. Next: at Perth Amboy, Nov. 23, 11 a.m.

9. South River (9-1): The Rams undefeated season, which included South River’s first division title since 2013 and its first unblemished regular-season mark in 17 years, ended with a 28-7 loss to Hillside in the opening round of the Central Group II playoffs.

10. Middlesex (8-1): The Blue Jays cruised to 28-6 Central Group I playoff victory over Shore, which they needed overtime to defeat in the regular-season, as John Kressbach rushed for a touchdown and threw for a score. Next: at Burlington City, Friday, 7 p.m.
