The Most Realistic Rendering Of The 2021 GMC Yukon We’ve Seen Yet - GM Authority

We were treated to the debut of the all-new 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe earlier this month, but we have yet to see its corporate cousin, the 2021 GMC Yukon, officially drop cover. Now, however, we’re getting a preview of things to come thanks to this latest rendering image.

The origin of the rendering is a bit mysterious, as it popped into our inbox completely anonymously. However, it’s the most realistic rendering of the new GMC Yukon we’ve seen yet. We’ve previously seen the 2021 GMC Yukon in prototype form conducting some real-world testing, but those models came draped in some rather extensive exterior camo.

The 2021 GMC Yukon is set to receive a complete overhaul, down to an all-new platform, with the GM T1 vehicle architecture providing the bones. The new Yukon will also get new exterior and interior designs as well, with “exception attention to detail,” as we covered previously. This attention to detail will help to set the Yukon apart from the other full-size GM SUVs on the block, even more so than in the past.

The 2021 GMC Yukon will also feature a rising rear window line, similar to the current GMC Terrain, GMC Acadia, and GMC Canyon, plus the all-new GMC Sierra 1500 and Sierra HD. This styling feature is seen in the rendering featured above. We also see a new fascia, grille, and headlamps, all of which were spotted previously on prototype models. Out back, we expect quad exhaust pipes. The new style will more closely align the 2021 GMC Yukon with the rest of the GMC stable.

Also look for new infotainment features and a new independent rear suspension. The new Yukon will be part of GM’s complete full-sizer overhaul planned for the 2021 model year.
