GMC Sierra HD Discount Drops Price By 14 Percent In November 2019 - GM Authority

Overall GMC Sierra sales rebounded 29 percent to 66,198 units in the third quarter of 2019 after falling 4 percent during the second quarter of 2019. Of those, Sierra HD sales grew nearly 10 percent to 18,455 units. The results match the ongoing market shift towards trucks and SUVs and away from sedans. Meanwhile, the all-new 2020 GMC Sierra HD is currently beginning its launch cadence.

That said, we imagine a portion of the increase could be attributed to lucrative discount offers, including this month’s GMC Sierra HD discount offer of 14 percent off most models. The incentive can equate to over $9,000 in some cases, and it’s worth noting that the offer is a tiny bit more generous than the 13-percent discount offered in recent months.

The Incentive

The following example of the 14-percent GMC Sierra HD discount incentive is provided for a 2019 Sierra 2500HD Denali Crew Cab:

• Cash offer: $4,719 price reduction + $5,374 purchase allowance = $10,093 total off the MSRP for current GM owners and lessees who finance with GM Financial.
• Finance offer: 0-percent APR for 60 months when financing with GM Financial.

It appears that this specific GMC Sierra HD discount is only available to current GM owners and lessees. Additionally, it appears this discount is only applicable to 2019 Denali Crew Cab models. Unlike previous GMC Sierra HD discount offers, this rebate does not stipulate that the vehicle be equipped with the Duramax package.

As such, the GMC Sierra HD discount reduces the price of the model in the example from $72,095 to $62,002.
