Vermont State Police The Vermont State Police is continuing to investigate Sunday’s armed robbery at the Billings Mobil station, including releasing the attached photographs of the suspect. Continued investigation indicates the suspect made off with more than $900 in cash along with a carton of Marlboro cigarettes. In addition to the previous description of the suspect, he appears to be wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt or jacket, possibly a winter hat, a red paisley-patterned bandana, dark pants, black gloves and black and white Adidas sneakers. His weapon was a large kitchen knife.

***Initial news release, 1:10 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, 2019***
On August 18, 2019 at approximately 0035 hours, Trooper's from the Middlesex State Police Barracks responded to 758 Waterbury-Stowe Road in the Town of Waterbury, also referred to as Billings Mobil, for a reported robbery complaint. Further investigation revealed that a male dressed in all dark clothing entered the store and displayed a knife to the store clerk and demanded the money in the cash register along with a carton of Marlboro cigarettes. The perpetrator was described as being in his late 20s to early 30s, medium build and approximately 6 feet in height. The perpetrator fled the scene prior to police arrival with approximately $300 in cash. There were not any injuries sustained during the incident. State Police attempted to locate the perpetrator by utilizing a K-9, however, they were not able to locate the individual.
