The 2020 GMC Terrain is getting several updates and changes. One of these is the addition of a new package called Denali Premium Package to the range-topping Denali trim level.
Assigned RPO Code PCV, the new Denali Premium Package adds two other packages – Advanced Safety Package and Comfort Package, which include several additional features:
Advanced Safety Package (WPR) content:
Comfort Package (PS1) content:
- Ventilated driver seat (KU1)
- Ventilated front passenger seat (KU3)
- Heated rear seats (KA6)
Both packages are only available as part of the Denali Premium Package, though some of the included features can be optioned with lower trim levels of the 2020 GMC Terrain. Hence, equipping the small crossover with the optional pack makes for the ultimate Terrain Denali.
It’s worth noting that the new package replaces various packages for the 2019 model year. For instance, the Comfort Package continues as is from 2019, while the Advanced Safety Package combines the aspects of the Driver Alert Package II and the Advanced Safety Package.
Pricing for the Denali Premium Package is currently unknown, but it should command a decent premium over the base price of the 2020 GMC Terrain. For reference, the 2019 GMC Terrain Denali starts at $37,800.
This isn’t the first time that GMC has offered an optional package for its range-topping Denali trim level. The GMC Sierra, for instance, also offers an optional Denali Ultimate Package as a $5,350 premium over the $54,795 base price of the 2019 GMC Sierra Denali 1500.
