SVE Might Revive GMC Typhoon Because Everyone Loves Powerful SUVs - CarBuzz

An SVE spokesperson was enthusiastic about such a vehicle making it into production but said that it would only happen if General Motors were to offer a GMC version of the Chevy Blazer first. Another option might be to use the Acadia instead since it shares the Blazer’s platform and has the blockier proportions that were so integral to the appeal of the original.

SVE could carry out the same modifications to the Acadia’s 3.6-liter V6 motor that it has already done to the Syclone, with the lowered suspension and sportier wheels completing the package. All we need now is for someone to mock up a quick render and convince the folks at Specialty Vehicle Engineering that this thing needs to become a reality.
