Woodbridge 5, J.P. Stevens 4: Anthony Santino scored the go-ahead run during a two-run rally in the bottom of the sixth that snapped a 3-3 deadlock, and the resurgent Barrons held on for a division crossover win.

Sam Duffy went 3-for-4 with two RBI for Woodbridge (6-8), which has won three of its last five. Tom O’Halloran doubled, tripled and plated two runs.

Ryan Pozo allowed three earned runs on seven hits over four innings, while Matt Medvetz yielded one earned run on one hit over three frames. The Woodbridge hurlers combined to fan four batters.

After Woodbridge scored three runs in the first, J.P. Stevens scored once in the second and tacked on two more runs in the fifth to forge a 3-3 tie.

Ismael Reynoso contributed two hits, two walks and two runs scored to the victory.

J.P. Stevens (10-5) has dropped three of its last four.

Carteret 7, J.F. Kennedy 5: After building a six-run lead through five innings, the Ramblers held on for an impressive Blue Division victory.

Julian Santana allowed four earned runs on four hits and two walks over four innings. Dennis Shopp allowed one earned run without allowing a hit over three innings. He walked four and fanned two. Santana struck out three.

Shopp helped his own cause, going 2-for-3 with three RBI. Teammate Gian Ortiz singled, doubled, scored a run and delivered two RBI.

Michael Gurzynski contributed a double, a run scored and an RBI to the victory. Teammate Axel Nunez scored twice.

Losing pitcher Michael Hein yielded just five hits in a complete-game effort. He walked four and fanned three.

Nick Pop went 2-for-2 with a triple, two runs scored and two RBI for the Mustangs (5-5). Teammate Vinnie Powers also went 2-for-2. He scored a run and had an RBI. Allen Hill and Alec Raj each crossed home for J.F. Kennedy.

Carteret (6-9) rallied for five runs in the third to erase a 1-0 deficit.
