1. Bishop Ahr (17-2) – The Trojans ran their winning streak to 13 games, adding two more victories last week, including a GMC White-Division clinching win over Edison on Saturday. Bishop Ahr wraps ups its divisional schedule with games against North Brunswick and New Brunswick, before a massive test Friday against defending TOC champ Manasquan, the state’s sixth-ranked team. The Trojans will also meet No. 1 Franklin the following week as the schedule continues to get them geared up for the postseason.

2. Edison (15-5) – The Eagles’ winning streak reached nine straight after victories over North Brunswick and J.F. Kennedy, but ended Saturday in a 59-38 setback to No. 1 Bishop Ahr. Edison faces South Plainfield on Thursday with the GMC Tournament slated to be seeded Friday.
3. Middlesex (17-1) – The Blue Jays jump three spots in the ranking after a rough week for the Red Division teams ranked ahead of them, coupled with a three-win week for Middlesex that included a Blue Division-clinching victory over Carteret. The Jays gave some big non-conference tests on tap this week, including a meeting with Sussex County power Newton and Union County contender Union Catholic.
4. J.P. Stevens (13-5) – The Hawks week started strong, with a 54-50 victory over Sayreville, but ended in huge disappointment with a 62-53 loss to unranked Old Bridge, a team J.P. Stevens beat by 17 points less than a month ago. The Hawks will look to bounce back this week with games at Spotswood and Perth Amboy, and a big one at home Thursday against Piscataway.
5. Piscataway (10-8) – The Chiefs took care of business in the GMC Red last week, topping South Brunswick and Monroe, each by double digits. But things didn’t go as well out of conference, where Piscataway suffered a disappointing loss to surging Mount St. Mary on Saturday. The Chiefs are in for a pair of big challenges this week, as they meet East Brunswick and J.P. Stevens.
6. East Brunswick (13-6) – The Bears’ week started strong, with a dominant 34-point win over Old Bridge and a 33-point triumph over South River, a then-unranked Blue Division club. With Piscataway and Monroe on tap this week, EB has a golden chance to get things back firmly on the right track.
7. Sayreville (13-7) – The Bombers nearly pulled off a stunner Tuesday, falling to No. 4 J.P. Stevens by just four points, before cruising past Colonia and New Brunswick to close out the week. Woodbridge and J.F. Kennedy visit Sayreville this week.
8. Monroe (10-7) – Victories over Perth Amboy and Burlington Township sandwiched a loss to Piscataway last week. Old Bridge and East Brunswick provide the Falcons with a pair of challenging opponents Tuesday and Thursday, respectively.
9. Carteret (14-6) – There were plenty of positives for the Ramblers last week, despite a 1-2 slate. After playing an inspired game against Cranford on Monday, falling by just five points to the Union County power, Carteret nearly scored its first victory over Middlesex in 19 outings on Wednesday before succumbing 51-45. The Ramblers salvaged the week Friday with a decisive win over Dunellen, and will look to continue to roll this week with South River and Timothy Christian on tap.
10. South River (13-6) – A huge week for the Rams, who enter the Top 10 for the first time this season after a pair of massive victories. South River got things started by slaying White Division contender North Brunswick 46-37 on Thursday, before pulling off a stunner on Saturday, topping Red Division power East Brunswick 40-34. The Rams will look to continue its roll against Carteret, Highland Park and J.F. Kennedy this week.
