1. Bishop Ahr (10-2) – The Trojans reeled off four straight victories last week, including a key 56-43 triumph over Edison on Thursday to secure sole possession of first place in the GMC White Division. A 52-43 non-conference victory over Morris Catholic capped the run Sunday.

2. Edison (7-4) – The Eagles posted a 3-1 week, falling to Bishop Ahr 56-43 on Thursday in a battle for the top spot in the White Division. Edison scored a pair of divisional victories, topping North Brunswick and J.F. Kennedy, and a huge inter-conference triumph over J.P. Stevens.
3. J.P. Stevens (8-2) – The Hawks’ week started well, with wins over Old Bridge and Perth Amboy, but J.P. Stevens ran into crosstown rival Edison on Thursday, falling 49-42.

4. Piscataway (6-4) – The Chiefs began the week with an easy 55-33 victory over Monroe, before claiming a huge win Thursday in a 53-52 nail-biter over East Brunswick. Big one on tap Tuesday against J.P. Stevens.
5. East Brunswick (8-3) – The Bears scored victories over South Brunswick and Spotswood last week, but fell to Piscataway 53-52 on Thursday, which snapped a seven-game winning streak. East Brunswick has a couple of big tests coming up, with games against No. 1 Bishop Ahr and No. 3 J.P. Sevens.
6. Middlesex (10-1) – The Blue Jays reeled off three straight dominant wins last week, topping Carteret, Spotswood and Dunellen by an average of 29 points to open a two-game lead in the GMC Blue Division.
7. Sayreville (7-4) – The Bombers went 4-0 last week, shaking off a two-game losing streak. Freehold Township, Colonia, New Brunswick and Woodbridge were Sayreville’s victims.
8. Monroe (6-3) – The Falcons move into the Top 10 having won four of five outings, with the lone loss in that span coming to Piscataway last Tuesday. Monroe’s other losses came to J.P. Stevens on opening night, and to Princeton during the holiday tournaments.
9. North Brunswick (5-5) – The Raiders fell victim to a brutally tough three-game slate last week, dropping game to No. 2 Edison and No. 1 Bishop Ahr. North Brunswick’s lone victory of the week came over South Plainfield on Thursday.
10. South Plainfield (5-5) – The Tigers picked up wins over Woodbridge and J.F. Kennedy during their 2-1 week, falling to North Brunswick on Thursday. Big Blue Division matchup with Carteret slated for Monday, before a Tuesday meeting with second-ranked Edison.
