1. Piscataway (6-2): Juwon Jackson rushed for 303 yards – one yard shy of the school’s single-game record – as the Chiefs secured the No. 2 seed for the North 2 Group V playoffs with a 46-0 blanking of Edison. Jackson carried just 11 times. He rushed for three touchdowns and also caught a screen pass for 53 yards for a score. Jackson’s scoring jaunts were of 95, 63 and 42 yards. Tevin Shaw holds Piscataway’s single-game record for yards with 304 in a 2011 sectional championship against Elizabeth. Kamille Pryor returned an interception 92 yards for a touchdown to close out the scoring. Edison (2-6) ran 36 plays from scrimmage in the second half, while Piscataway ran just two. Next: vs. Bayonne, Friday, 7 p.m.

2. South Brunswick (7-1): Quarterback Felix Quinones had four rushing touchdowns to lead the Vikings to their fifth straight victory, a 40-8 win over Monroe. Quinones scored on runs of 19, 16, 12 and 6 yards. Justin Shorter (6 yards), Dylan Kriz (24 yards) and Katibu Martin (4 yards) also had touchdown runs for South Brunswick. Next: vs. Hillsborough, Friday, 7 p.m.

3. St. Joseph (9-0): Jordan Davis amassed 252 all-purpose yards including kickoff returns of 95 and 85 yards for touchdowns as the Falcons completed an undefeated regular season for the second consecutive year with a 49-21 win over J.P. Stevens. Running back Manny Resto contributed 164 yards and two touchdowns rushing on 22 carries. He scored on runs of 42 and 17 yards. Quarterback Paul Cocozziello completed 6 of 11 passes for 113 yards and two touchdowns. He connected with Jon Sot on a 22-yard scoring strike and Nate Wyatt on a 17-yard touchdown pass. The Falcons extended their White Division winning streak to 17 games. Next: vs. Paramus Catholic, Saturday, 1 p.m.

4. Old Bridge (6-2): The Knights clinched a No. 3 seed for the Central Group V playoffs and also kept alive their hopes for a share of the Red Division title with a thrilling 22-21 overtime win over Sayreville. With a victory over East Brunswick on Thanksgiving Day, Old Bridge would end up in a three-way tie with South Brunswick and Piscataway atop the division with all three schools having identical 6-1 records, in which case, under league rules, the three schools will share the division crown. Next: Trenton, Friday, 7 p.m.

5. Sayreville (5-4): The Bombers, whose four losses have come by an average of 5.3 points, endured their second 22-21 overtime loss of the season, dropping a heartbreaker to Old Bridge. Connor Holmes scored on runs of 5 and 1 yards, while Elijah Clark hauled in a 19-yard scoring strike from Mark Whitford. Next: at Colonia, Friday, 7 p.m.

6. Colonia (7-2): Luke Pero rushed for two touchdowns to lead the Patriots to their fifth consecutive victory, a 24-0 blanking of Perth Amboy. During its winning streak, Colonia has limited five opponents to a total of 30 points, or six points per game. Gianfranco Tiseo booted a 29-yard field goal and converted all three of his extra-point attempts. Quarterback Taj-Calvin Johnson scored on a 32-yard run for the Patriots. Pero’s touchdown runs were of 18 and 2 yards. Next: vs. Sayreville, Friday, 7 p.m.

7. North Brunswick (6-2): The Raiders extended their winning streak to six games – the school’s longest since 2010 – with a 14-0 blanking of Woodbridge. The shutout was North Brunswick’s first since 2011 and the Raiders will now look to win their first road playoff game since 1979, according to North Brunswick play-by-play announcer Korbid Thompson. With the victory, the Raiders also assured themselves of their first winning season since 2010. Next: at Freehold Township, Friday, 7 p.m.

8. Carteret (4-4): The Ramblers scored first in a 42-21 loss to Rumson-Fair Haven, turning Brian Leigh interception into six points when Stephon Kelley-Gordon caught a 13-yard pass from Zamar Brake, who connected with Antoran Chandler on a 9-yard scoring strike in the fourth quarter. Chandler also scored on a 70-yard run. Next: at Monmouth, Saturday, 1 p.m.

9. South River (9-0): Quarterback Michael DeSantis passed for 281 yards and four touchdowns and also had two rushing touchdowns in a 50-38 comeback victory over Dunellen. DeSantis had touchdown runs of 54 and 27 yards. With the win, South River the Blue Division championship and concluded its first undefeated regular season in 17 years. The Division title was South River’s first since 2013. Travis Thomas had touchdown receptions of 7 and 30 yards. Kyle Baszak had a 14-yard scoring jaunt and a 6-yard touchdown catch. March Pacheco caught a 30-yard scoring strike. Next: Hillside, Saturday, 1 p.m.

10. Middlesex (7-1): Running back Devin Lanza rushed 15 times for 109 yards and quarterback John Kressbach had 90 yards on 14 carries as the Blue Jays recorded their first shutout since Nov. 26, 2015 with a 10-0 blanking of Bishop Ahr. The Middlesex defense recorded two safeties and Kressbach accounted for the game’s lone touchdown, a 47-yard run. Fullback Tom Rau contributed 77 rushing yards on 17 carries to the victory. Middlesex (7-1) has limited three opponents to a touchdown or less. Next: Shore, Friday, 7 p.m.
